    The usage was ironic. My Dictionarie is like a textbook: each lesson builds on the previous one. ;-)

    Kev, how often does the term “bailiwick” come up in conversation over in Dublin? :-P

    I can’t say I’ve heard it yet. On the other hand, I’ve heard it at work in Ann Arbor, and used it a few times myself! For example, “Oh, I do XML workflows; interface design isn’t my bailiwick.”
