at last … more photos of Dublin!

This past Saturday morning the sun was shining brighter than I’ve ever seen it in Ireland, so I decided to seize the opportunity to take photos before the clouds came back. Add these to some photos I took on other days and it turns out I now have 46 photos of Dublin. Check out the growing collection.

    Nice collection of photos!
What a beautiful color of the sky that day!!
I liked the pic of street signs in particular:
“Guiness Beer” and “Regent Barbers with hot towel shaves”. :)
And more than anything, nice to see Irish Swans and Mallards very similar to ours. Hope the spring is around the corner for you, too.

Nice photos, and not rainy at all! :)
What about the famous multi-coloured doors? I only saw one in the picture with the palm trees (yellow)… can we have more of them please?
As for the “Irish crows” in one pic – aren’t these magpies?

The weather has improved significantly in the past week or two!

There are beautiful doors all over, and I can never decide which two or three to put together in one photo. So I haven’t really taken any of them. But I’ll see what I can do.

Now that I looked up magpies, I think you’re right! We don’t have them in the US, so I haven’t seen them before. Wikipedia tells me they’re related to crows anyway. Still, they remind me of European crows, which always have a bit of grayish feathers, whereas American crows are always all black.
