I am not on Twitter for reasons somewhat similar to what you describe -- I already had a FB account, a VKontakte account and two blogs and didn&#039;t want to spread myself even thinner and have even more distractions. (Actually, I am registered on Twitter, but I have never used it). 

As for addressing multiple audiences, I understand this problem. For me the solution was to write different things in different places. E.g., my FB postings are almost exclusively in English and almost exclusively for my U.S. friends.</description>
