comments and a postscript
Thanks to all who alerted me to the comments not working. My temporary blog hosting service didn't give me the one file needed for comments by default because comments are likely to lead to a flood of comment spam. You can use tricks to get around them, but I've decided it's not worth investing the trouble in it right now.
So please send your comments directly to me! If you'd like me to share those comments with others, let me know and I'll try to do so.
A few notes on the photo of my room:
- At one time a whole family lived in my room.
- The ironing board belongs to my host parents, but I'm very grateful to have it.
- The teddy bear is not mine.
Friday night I took a picture of Red Square, but it came out really dark, so you can't see anything. Not worth posting. I also learned that when the temperature is below freezing, you only get about one photo before your digital camera stops working. So don't count on too many pictures till it gets warmer.
